Electronic waste, a valuable resource making new electronics

By developing smart electronics processes, most of the electronics waste can be recycled or reused for making, for example, new electronics. In this way, we can use the planet's limited resources in a sustainable manner.

Stena Recycling started electronics recycling in 1992. New and refined processes for collection, recycling and reuse are constantly being developed. It is greatly needed. Every week, a million tonnes of electronics waste is generated over the world*. Due to the ongoing global electrification, we can expect even more electronic waste in the future.
