From 2020 and onwards sustainability will be a core theme at the annual landmark forum Brilliant Minds held in Stockholm, Sweden. The goal is to be the most sustainable symposium in the world with help from Stena Recycling in a role as chief advisor to Brilliant Minds.
Brilliant Minds was founded in 2015 by Spotify founder and CEO, Daniel Ek, and serial entrepreneur, Arash Pournouri. The Brilliant Minds event is a change and creativity symposium in Stockholm, Sweden and the platform of a global community and movement shaping the future by challenging the present.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Stena Recycling, Europe’s leading recycling innovator, will act as chief advisor to Brilliant Minds as we aim to be the most sustainable symposium in the world and to present the strongest content on the topic. This naturally reflects Sweden’s global leadership on climate change and sustainability in the holistic sense”, says Natalia Brzezinski, CEO Brilliant Minds.
Sustainability will be a core in content and story-telling acting as convening power for the world’s best practices and ideas in the area, but also in the physical footprint of the actual forum.
Stena Recycling, a part of the Stena Sphere, owned and controlled by the Olsson Family, will be the heart of a new advisory council on sustainability that is launched in 2020.
“It’s very exciting for us to take on the role as chief advisor to Brilliant Minds. Sustainability is at the core of our business and we are very glad to share our knowledge. A central part of our strategy is to contribute and stimulate the shift to a circular economy together with our partners and customers. We share the belief with Brilliant Minds that the only way we can create change in our environment is together”, says Michael McGrath, Chief Operating Officer for Stena Recycling Group.
