Circular transformation & change

A green trafic light.

Implement processes and guidelines for circularity

Was the pilot you just did a success? So what’s next?

We assess the demand, organisational capabilities, and potential of scaling circular business practices within our clients' operations. This approach not only mitigates risks associated with large-scale implementation but also empowers our clients to make informed decisions and confidently chart a course towards broader adoption of circularity, maximizing both environmental and economic benefits in the process.

Building coalitions

Sometimes we are called to act as an independent mediator creating space for various stakeholders to gather around a topic that could make a difference across the whole value chain

Our role then involves orchestrating dialogue and cooperation among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and consumers to develop and implement circular initiatives that drive meaningful change. By fostering synergy and consensus among these stakeholders, we enable the creation of comprehensive circular strategies that address every stage of the product lifecycle, from production and distribution to consumption and disposal. Through our mediation efforts, we strive to cultivate a culture of sustainability and circularity, where resources are efficiently utilized, waste is minimized, and environmental stewardship is prioritized across the entire ecosystem.

Client case

Three leading manufacturers of electronics approached Stena Circular Consulting to investigate how the electronics recycling system in Sweden can be further improved. Together the parties would like to: I. improve the recycling rates, II. lower the climate impact, III. increase transparency for the electronics recycling process. We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the status quo and a series of interviews to understand the trends in product design, provided action points on design guidelines and outlined the implications for the recycling companies.
