Globally, there are 50 million tonnes of electronic waste produced every year. All electronic waste contains lots of valuable material, still 35 percent of all electronics in the EU is not recycled. This a major problem if we don’t start to recycle it to a much higher degree.

We know how to recycle most of it, but we must make sure that the material both is collected and sorted right and that we use modern, innovative recycling processes. It’s essential that we all work together to take care of as much of the material from the electronic waste as possible. To move towards a sustainable economy, businesses need to think more circular with all wastes from production. And optimized recycling is part of the road ahead.
