We are enablers in the circular economy

From linear to circular economy

In the past linear economy, products were mainly manufactured from finite natural resources. These products were ultimately destined to become waste because of the way they were designed and manufactured. And after being used they typically ended up in landfill.

In the new circular economy, however, worn-out products are now being repaired, refurbished and reused in new applications – or recycled into high-quality raw materials for use in new products. These new products are also being designed to be fully reused or recycled when they reach end-of-life.

As well as enabling us to create high-quality recycled raw materials for use in new products, this circular approach minimizes landfill, reduces the consumption of finite natural resources and saves energy. It also reduces emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants. These are just some of the benefits of the circular economy.
