We provide reliable waste collection, innovative reuse services and advanced recycling on an industrial level. We also offer comprehensive recycling solutions and circular services, which play a key role in the transition to a circular economy.

With our advanced recycling processes, we transform huge quantities of complex waste into high-quality recycled raw materials for use in production instead of the Earth’s natural resources. These recycled raw materials include ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics and paper and are resold for use in the manufacturing of new products.

We have established a secure global network of buyers, so we can supply customers from all over the world with high-quality recycled raw materials, steel products and aluminium alloys, while always offering competitive market prices for your scrap.

We recycle 6 million tonnes of materials every year

Stena Recycling is one of Europe’s leading recycling companies and operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland, Italy and the US. We work with more than 100,000 customers across industries and municipalities and have a network of 178 certified recycling facilities across Europe – including our flagship facility, the Stena Nordic Recycling Center, in Sweden, where materials from a number of European countries are recycled. At Stena Nordic Recycling Center we design each process as a scalable concept, ready to implement at our recycling plants in for example Poland and Italy, from which we serve our markets outside the Nordic countries. This means we can offer the same high recycling rates and high-quality raw materials from recycling in all of our markets.

We have invested a vast amount of time and resources in our facilities to deliver advanced and efficient recycling on an industrial level as well as conduct a global trade in high-quality recycled raw materials. At our facilities, we currently collect and recycle over 6 million tonnes of material every year – this is equivalent to almost three Eiffel Towers per day.
