The Product Circularity Assessment is our proprietary methodology to analyze a product or a product system. First, we benchmark its current state and identify design improvement opportunities fit for a circular economy. We apply three key lenses – Product, System, and Business Model – which inform a comprehensive circularity assessment, including both the component and material levels. Then, using this baseline, we work closely with you to create a comprehensive design improvements list to inform future product work.

We recommend our Product Circularity Assessment as a starting point to engage with circular economy innovation in-depth and to understand the factors that influence/determine your company’s potential/feasibility to become more circular.

A Product Circularity baseline ‘scorecard’, rating the product’s fit with a circular economy,  according to the three  lenses and along  different modes of circularity (recycling, refurbishing, reuse, repair etc.)
A quantitative assessment of actual recycling rates of the product, based on composition as well as systemic and business model factors
